Through a series of executive actions, President Obama is expected to broadly overhaul the nation’s immigration enforcement system—a move that is expected to protect up to 5 million undocumented immigrants from the threat of deportation. Though the president may soon act, thousands of immigrant children who have crossed the border are still in limbo, even as many more migrants continue to enter the country each day. Mark Seitz, Bishop of the Diocese of El Paso, Texas has seen many of these young children and broken families firsthand.
