Six baseball players from Flower Mound state champion sign with colleges

The Flower Mound baseball team, which in June won the Class 5A state championship, had another proud moment Wednesday as six players signed.

Shortstop Casey Jacobsen and first baseman Sean Wymer, who were all-district selections last year, signed with BYU and TCU, respectively. The other signees were second baseman Noah Hill (BYU), outfielder Jameson Hannah (Dallas Baptist), outfielder Deron Arnold (Stephen F. Austin) and pitcher Ethan Dailey (Southern Arkansas).

“Signing day is always fun,” Flower Mound coach Danny Wallace said. “You get to watch kids achieve dreams they’ve been chasing not just for one year, but for six or seven years.”
