No-fly zones: An article in the Nov. 10 Section A about flight restrictions over Disney theme parks misstated the Federal Aviation Administration's positions on no-fly zones over Disney parks and sports events by implying the agency was seeking their removal. FAA Administrator Michael P. Huerta testified before Congress last year that, if the 2003 congressional mandate were removed, the agency would not otherwise grant requests for no-fly zones above Disney properties under existing FAA rules. That 2003 law also made no-fly zones above sporting events permanent. If the congressional mandate for those zones were likewise removed, an FAA spokeswoman said last week, the agency would consider such zones on a case-by-case basis and consult with other agencies.

Unclaimed dead: An article in the Nov. 9 Section A on L.A. County's unclaimed dead said the Department of Public Health oversees the Department of Decedent Affairs. The Los Angeles County Department of Health Services oversees the...

Midterm election: An article in Section A on Nov. 9 about spending during the midterm election said Democratic candidates and outside groups supporting them spent a total of about $1.64 million, according to the Center for Responsive Politics. They spent about $1.64 billion.

Election results: In an election results chart in the Nov. 6 California section, State Senate District 18 was described as including Inyo, Kern and Tulare counties. The district is in Los Angeles County.

Africans in Russia: In the Nov. 2 Section A, an article about hostility against African blacks in Russia said that there had been 177 reported acts of violence against blacks in Russia since 2010, according to the SOVA Center for Information and Analysis. There were actually 177 reported violent acts against blacks since 2008, SOVA officials say, six of which ended in death.

Jerry Lee Lewis: In the Nov. 4 Calendar section, a profile of Jerry Lee Lewis and a review of new albums by Lewis and Pat Boone both referred to a musician credited on Lewis' album as "the late" Doyle Bramhall. In fact, the musician was Doyle Bramhall II, Bramhall's son.

Pasadena Playhouse: In the Nov. 4 Calendar section, an article about Pasadena Playhouse associate artistic director Seema Sueko misstated where she received her undergraduate degree. She graduated from the University of Puget Sound in Tacoma, Wash., not the University of Washington Tacoma.

AMC-DirecTV: In the Nov. 4 Business section, an article about a contract dispute between AMC and DirecTV referred to the network as AMC Entertainment Holdings. The corporate name is AMC Networks Inc.

Whittier development: An article in the Nov. 2 California section about a project planned for the site of the former Fred C. Nelles Youth Correctional Facility said that the developer, Brookfield Residential Properties, purchased the property from the state three years ago for $42.5 million. The company struck a deal at that time with the state, but the sale is not expected to become final until 2015.

Downtown speak-easy: An article in the Oct. 31 Section A about a long-forgotten Prohibition-era speak-easy in the basement of the Rosslyn Hotel annex said that according to the Los Angeles Conservancy, the Rosslyn annex had not yet been added to the National Register of Historic Places. After publication, the conservancy said that, in fact, the annex was listed in August 2013.

Denis Johnson: An article in the Nov. 2 Arts & Books section about novelist Denis Johnson said that the title of his 2000 novel was "The Name at the End of the World." The title is "The Name of the World."
