One of the defining shows of MTV’s early-aughts era programming is going to be making a comeback.

During yesterday’s installment of The Talk, matron of the house Sharon Osbourne announced that her family would be reuniting on television and reprising their role as reality television’s First Family.

We’ll get to see up to eight more episodes of The Osbournes, though where and when it will air has yet to be revealed.

“It’s been so long… our family has grown,” Osbourne said while announcing their return. “We have a gorgeous daughter-in-law.”

Obviously a lot more has changed since they wrapped up production on the seminal TV show back in 2005 — mostly in a positive way for Sharon, who is now a daytime TV staple, and her daughter Kelly, who’s turned her fame into a regular role on E!’s Fashion Police.

As for the male Osbournes, however, both Ozzy and Jack have struggled with their sobriety, but Ozzy is reportedly back on track and it was actually the Black Sabbath frontman who suggested bringing back the show.

“He looked back on his life and he said, ‘I wish we could have done The Osbournes now where I’m clean and sober,’” she said. “So much to talk about … Ozzy is coming up with his last tour with Black Sabbath.”

No word on when the show will air.
