Dolly Parton On Christians Condemning Homosexuals: ‘The Sin Of Judging Is Just As Bad As Any Other Sin’

Dolly Parton draws a diverse crowd. She’s a member of the Country Music Hall of Fame, and has a huge ‘red state’ following, but at the same time she’s an icon to the LGBT community.

So one might wonder if things get a bit weird at Dollywood, which attracts fans from all quadrants of her following.

Parton said that she has little tolerance for anyone who would discriminate against any of her fans in a new interview with Billboard.

“It’s a place for entertainment, a place for all families, period,” she said of her Tennessee amusement park. “It’s for all that. But as far as the Christians, if people want to pass judgment, they’re already sinning. The sin of judging is just as bad as any other sin they might say somebody else is committing. I try to love everybody.”

As for why she has such a huge gay following, she said it’s all about not being judgmental.
