You know, banning fracking was great and everything, but it doesn't hold a candle to making the BIG TIME: our t-shirt was prominently featured on a Tiny Desk concert by Roomful of Teeth. </joke>
We made history! And the Denton County Museum would like to gather materials for its archives and collections. If you have anything you'd be willing to donate, please either bring it Tuesday night to the Greenhouse or drop an e-mail to dentondag@gmail.com.
We will see you at the Greenhouse Tuesday night at 6PM in the back room.

We'll celebrate some more and talk about what is next. We'd love to hear your ideas about next steps also.
Frack Free Denton shared Amber Dryden Briggle's status.
Please be careful y'all...and please report anything suspicious.
BE AWARE: white, extended cab pickup with tinted windows is prowling the streets of Denton after dark, slowing down or parking in front of houses with Frack Free Denton signs, then taking pictures. Has been spotted on Parkside, Emerson, and Nottingham, probably more places too. Please, for the safety of EVERYONE, make a report to the police, even if you think it's "nothing". We need to stop this NOW.

I've made this post public so you can share and repost.
"This is a victory for the citizens of the city of Denton. For our families, for our health, for our homes, and for our future."

"We know the oil and gas industry is going to try to use its paid flunkies to overturn the ban in the state legislature. To them I say, if you vote to overturn this ban, never again say you’re against big government."
Beautiful pictures of beautiful people. Our warriors on the ground...in the rain. Thank you. Photo credits to Michael Leza. He has given permission to use these pictures, but just asks that you credit him. Thank you, Michael!

Vote FOR the Fracking Ban....because there is nothing responsible about fracking less than 200 feet from kids' bedrooms and wasting billions of gallons of Denton's water.
