To Whom It May Concern:

On July 24, 2009 your companies presented an independent natural gas leak survey to the Town of DISH, TX. This survey was in response to the town’s repeated complaints of odor surrounding the natural gas compression station that your respective companies owns and operates in and around the town of DISH. This survey did not address the concerns that the town has in regards to the odor surrounding the compressor station, nor did it test for any odor causing chemicals. The survey found no substantial leaks, and the small leaks noted would be well below the sense of smell threshold.

In the previous sixty days prior to presenting this information, the odor surrounding the site had greatly improved; however, beginning on the very night the town was presented this survey, the odor returned. At approximately 3:00 AM on July 25, 2009 a strong odor canvassed the entire community; since this date there has been daily odor surrounding this compressor site. However, the odor did change in characteristics around the same time. The odor can now be descried as a sulphur smell, and causes various respiratory irritations to many in the community.
