Many of the Milwaukee Bucks players and coaches took time Wednesday to hang out with several hundred Milwaukee-area school children to stress the importance of reading and learning. Check out the attached slideshow to see photos from the event, which was held at Discovery World on Milwaukee's lakefront.

More than 400 Milwaukee-area elementary school kids attended the event. They were from Milwaukee Urban Day School, La Causa Charter School, Silver Spring Elementary School and Hartford University School.

Bucks players, including Larry Sanders, Giannis Antetokounmpo and Johnny O'Bryant, along with coach Jason Kidd, talked about why education and literacy should be a priority in the children's lives. Sam's Hope Literacy Foundation provided books for each child to keep, and additional contributions of books were made to the schools.
