Flat 12 Bierwerks, an Indianapolis-based brewing company, is close to opening its doors at 130 W. Riverside Drive in Jeffersonville.
The News and Tribune reports Sean O'Connor, Flat 12's CEO, previously said a grand opening would be held Nov. 22, but that date is now uncertain because of an upcoming final inspection. More information on the actual opening date will be on Twitter.
As Business First previously reported, Flat 12 will serve its lineup of 20 regular brews along with five beers specific to Jeffersonville. It will also offer a menu consisting mostly of flatbread.
The News and Tribune reports that the facility will have the space to brew at least 40,000 barrels of beer per year, which could surpass the amount made at the Indianapolis site. A porter, amber ale, blonde, IPA and pale ale are among Flat 12's core offerings.
