A new study shows that Fifth Third Bank is one of the country's most financially healthy banks, the Cincinnati Business Courier reports.

DepositAccounts.com ranked Fifth Third at 193, which puts the bank in the top 3 percent of the 6,500 banks studied nationwide, the story said.

The bank, which has $130 billion in assets, is the largest bank in the top 200. Fifth Third received an overall A+ grade in the study, which examined deposit growth, capitalization and Texas ratio (a measure of capitalization relative to troubled loans).

Kentucky banks listed in the top 200 are BankTrust Financial in Henderson, Ky., (No. 100); Franklin Bank & Trust Co., in Franklin, Ky., (No. 104); and the Lincoln National Bank of Hodgenville in Hodgenville, Ky., (No. 125).
