STUDIO CITY (CBSLA.com) — A wave of energy is moving into the west coast Thursday morning as the on-shore flow and cool conditions continue.

There is the threat of light showers north of Pt. Conception; however here in LA, just more of the same partly to mostly cloudy skies.

By Thursday evening, the winds should pick up a bit. Don’t be be surprised if an advisory pops up.

There is another wave of energy Friday morning and that could spell some drizzle.

Over the weekend, a ridge of high pressure builds and warming things up slightly. Expect to stay in the mid to upper 70s.

Next week, there will be some cooler weather. An approaching low on Tuesday brings the next chance at any light rain, but it does look like that threat is diminishing as we get the latest forecast models.
