NEW BERN, N.C. (AP) — The wife of a registered sex offender who ran a home child care in Sanford as a front for a child porn production operation faces up to 30 years in prison after pleading guilty to a federal charge.

Multiple media outlets report that 35-year-old Elizabeth Holland Mills pleaded guilty Wednesday in New Bern to one count of manufacturing child pornography. She’ll be sentenced in February.

Her husband, 34-year-old Bailey Joe Mills, pleaded guilty in August to one count of manufacturing child pornography. He’ll be sentenced in January.

The couple and three other people were arrested in last January. At the time, authorities said there were at least 10 victims ranging in age from 1 to 14.

State officials have said the home was not a licensed daycare.
