NFL Week 11 Fantasy Football Rankings: Overvalued, undervalued

The Week 11 rankings feature rookies on the move and resurgent veterans. Below are players at each skill position I consider to be overvalued (Danger!) and undervalued (Sleepers) in Sporting News' Week 11 fantasy football rankings.

WEEK 11 RANKINGS: QB | RB | WR | TE | K | DEF

Danger!

QB Matthew Stafford, Lions (Ranked No. 7 at position) @ Cardinals: Arizona's pass defense has actually improved dramatically over the past few weeks and this team elevates its play signficantly at home. Excluding the week Chip Kelly blew through town, the Cardinals' defense has allowed opposing quarterbacks an average of 190.7 pass yards over the past three games.

This came against lesser quarterback quality, but an important takeaway is the play of corners Patrick Peterson and Antonio Cromartie. The former turned the tide on Sunday and the latter tops Pro Football Focus' cornerback grading over the past four weeks.

RB Matt Forte, Bears (1st) vs. Vikings: This dumpster fire reached new heights when even Forte couldn't produce against Green Bay's struggling run defense.

Forte tallied 122 yards on 5.3 per carry when the Bears lost to Green Bay in Week 4, yet even that facet of Chicago's offense began to falter Sunday night. Forte notched his lowest per-carry average since Week 3 and fewest receiving yards in a game since Week 2 as this team continues to spiral.

WR TY Hilton, Colts (8th) vs. Patriots: This is all FOR (Fear of Revis). The Pats had Aqib Talib follow Hilton in their last matchup, so enter an even better corner.

TE Larry Donnell, Giants (11th) vs. 49ers: It's brutal to lose Patrick Willis for the season, but the return of Aldon Smith's edge-rush threat and quality young depth at the next levels should still make this a tough TE matchup down the stretch.

Sleepers

QB Colin Kaepernick, 49ers (16th) @ Giants: Jim Harbaugh's use of Kaepernick during the first half in New Orleans was encouraging for his efficiency going forward.

With an even pass-run split and seven drops for the Niners offense, Kaepernick still managed to top 200 yards passing yards in the contest. His run total also projects higher against a Giants defense that displayed laughable containment in allowing Russell Wilson to top 100 on the ground last week.

RB Bishop Sankey, Titans (22nd) vs. Steelers: He's a decent RB2 this week largely as a product of opportunity and byes, ranking top-15 in rushing attempts in each of the past three weeks the Titans played.

The Steelers have been steamrolled on the ground a couple times this season after falling behind early, and won't have Ryan Shazier or Troy Polamalu Monday night. If the Steelers jump ahead from the gate, Sankey's still a viable pass-catching option and could take goal-line duties after Shonn Greene's fumble-touchback in Week 10.

WR Mike Evans, Bucs (16th) @ Redskins: In my humble opinion, Evans should be up in the top-12/four-star range where Kelvin Benjamin resides in this week's rankings.

Garbage-time points do count the same, but Evans' target numbers continue to rise as he rewards trust in whoever throws passes for the Bucs. Evans ranks top-six in yards, targets and touchdowns over the past three weeks, while Benjamin falls outside those parameters since Week 8.

TE Brent Celek, Eagles (17th) @ Packers: Celek's career has endured dramatic peaks and valleys with Philly starting quarterback changes.

Early appearances suggest Mark Sanchez has a better connection with Celek than Nick Foles, yielding a potential resurgence. In his five-catch, 116-yard Monday night performance, Celek topped Zach Ertz 6-to-2 in targets and pushed his snap lead over the past couple weeks to 104-59.
