The Plaza Club has named Randy Ha, a veteran executive with Starwood Hotels & Resorts, general manager of the Downtown Honolulu social and business club.

Ha, a Honolulu native and University of Hawaii graduate, was most recently general manager of the Sheraton Puerto Rico Hotel & Casino.

"We were very fortunate to find Randy Ha, a proven leader who can take the club to a new level of service for our members," Brian Wong, chief operation officer of MW Group, which owns The Plaza Club, said in a statement. "He is well respected, and has mentored many other general managers. We are highly confident that his leadership and knowledge will exceed the expectations of our membership and guests."
