9News Weather: Icy roads, frigid temps will stymie commuters

9News weather cam shows a snowy scene on Boulder's Pearl Street Mall at 2:10 p.m. Wednesday.

Arctic cold will keep the Front Range at record-cold temperature levels Wednesday night and Thursday morning.

Snow will continue through the day Wednesday with additional amounts of 1 to 3 inches for east Metro Denver and northern Colorado, 2 to 5 inches in west-metro Denver, and 3 to 7 inches in the Foothills.

Snow will end before midnight Wednesday night.
