The Home Builders Association of Alabama is now under new leadership.
Lynn Corder, a Tuscaloosa-native, was appointed to serve as the 2015 president of the association, according to a report from the Alabama Center for Real Estate. Corder, who originally worked with The Builders Group of West Alabama, will now take the helm at the fourth largest state Home Builders Association in the U.S.
The report said Corder has been a member of the Home Builders Association of Tuscaloosa since 1990, serving on the board of directors since 2000.
Jimmy Rutland of Lowder New Homes, a member of the Greater Montgomery Home Builders Association, was named Treasurer, while Buddy Bowman of Bucky Inc., a member of the St. Clair County Home Builders Association, was named Secretary. The report also said the Associate Vice President for 2015 will be Joe Daffron of Alabama Power, a member of the Home Builders Association of Tuscaloosa.
