SMU Signs 3 Guards To Letters Of Intent

DALLAS (AP) - One Oklahoma’s top prep players is among three guards who have signed national letters of intent with SMU and coach Larry Brown.
The players signing Wednesday with the Mustangs were Malik “Shake” Milton, Sedrick Barefield and Jarrey Foster.
Milton was Oklahoma’s Gatorade Player of the Year last season, when he averaged 28 points, 5.9 rebounds and 3.9 assists per game as a junior at Owasso High School.
Barefield averaged 17.4 points and 4.4 assists as a junior last season for Centennial High in Corona, California.
The 6-foot-5 Foster, who also plays forward, averaged 12.7 points, 5.5 rebounds, 1.5 blocks and 1.2 steals a game as North Shore High School in Houston won its first Class 5A state championship last season.
