Stop Fracking Air Pollution, Fight Climate Change

Methane leaks from oil and gas drilling significantly harm the climate and the air we breathe.

When methane is released into our air, so are other compounds, including carcinogens like benzene, and smog- forming pollutants that threaten our health.

The oil and gas industry is the second largest industrial source of climate pollution, after fossil fuel combustion.

Some drillers seeking profits think capturing air pollution is too expensive, exposing nearby communities to carcinogens like benzene.

The oil and gas industry is capable of capturing methane and other air pollutants. The Obama Administration has the power to make them take these common sense precautions.

TAKE ACTION: Tell the Obama Administration to protect our health and clean air. Tell them to directly regulate methane.
