Toyota's new $350 million, 100-acre North American headquarters in Plano is starting to take shape, at least on paper.

The Japanese automaker's plans for its corporate campus at Headquarters Drive and Legacy Drive were filed with Plano's planning department on Thursday, hinting to an office complex, with four warehouse buildings and a data center on the west side of the 100-acre campus.

The campus is bound by Headquarters Drive to the south, Legacy Drive to the East and State Highway 121 to the north.

Here's a look at the numbers shaping the design of the new Toyota North American campus:

  • Total building footprint: 1.78 million square feet
  • Max building height: Six stories
  • Parking ratio: One parking space per 300 square feet of office space, or one space per 1,000 square feet of warehouse space
  • Total number of parking spaces: 7,713 parking spaces
  • Building footprint: 1.3 million square feet
  • Total campus footprint: 4.3 million square feet

The new headquarters is expected to employ up to 4,000 workers in the next few years. Toyota North America CEO Jim Lentz told the Dallas Business Journal the new campus will help streamline the company's North American business.
