The Long Light Of July
A message from Sara:
Hello! I want to tell you about new music and touring!
I hope you’re enjoying summer. I live near San Diego but have spent much of my summer touring in the northern latitudes where daylight lasts long after dinner, and beyond Little One’s bedtimes: the Midwest; New England; Canada… We finished the tour with Jackson Browne and I’m presently memorizing lyrics to a handful of new songs for A Prairie Home Companion’s “Radio Romance” tour. I join them in Maine and we’ll go through Pennsylvania, Vermont, New York, and end in Michigan. You can go direct to my tour page for more information.
Now for the music! We recorded a concert I did while opening for Jackson Browne and have put the audio of these live performances up on my website! (You might have seen when getting here) The show was recorded in 2012 at Denver’s Paramount Theater and there are six songs for you to download. When you sign up for any of my social accounts you get a free download (and even if you ‘like’ me or follow me already, you can still get the tunes – just click again!). I had so much fun playing with his band every night, and on two of these numbers Jackson joins in as well. I’m glad we recorded this show and I hope you enjoy listening! You can go directly to my here and start liking and downloading!
Come see me on the road and if i’m not coming to your area, check out the Watkins Family Hour podcast.
