Born May, 20, 1923 in Perry, New York passed away at age 91 on October 21, 2014. Dick was preceded in death by his wife of 52 years, Jeanette Dunn Buchanan of Omaha Nebraska. He is survived by his daughter, Jacalyn FitzGerald of Frisco, Texas; his son, Kent Buchanan of Indian Harbour Beach, Florida; his grandchildren, Christy, Shana, Michael, Lindsay and Emily and his great grandchildren, Ryan, Quinn, Keegan, Corbin, Drew and Milo. Funeral mass was celebrated at St. Elizabeth Seton Catholic Church on October 29, 2014 and he was interred at Restland Cemetery in Dallas, Texas. He is remembered by all as a loving, hard working, patriotic and very honest man who dedicated his life to his family and loved ones.
