i saw this on the wcco 5pm the first i heard..how did the people that already showed know??? and another question..i went to my 1st game there last year on the coldest day damn near -30 below 2nd row from the top top..nosebleeds vs. michigan state and did i hear them say 120 degree heated water tubes under the turf..keeps who warm???? that's a blatant lie..never again!

Agree - I thought the pay seemed low. But we live in a mostly free market society so if people don't show up, they'll have to raise the pay. It's not their job (nor good business) to pay extra. The correct pay is one at which people will show up enough to get the work done. Supply and demand.

I was never going to. My post was more about them dicking over people with low wages so they can save money by not having to hire a company to do the work. Hopefully this has cleared up your misunderstanding.

Forty bucks for busting your ass in the freezing cold for four hours is not reasonable. Asking to be rightfully compensated for work you perform is not greed. Greed is saying "hey, let's just toss out an offer for ten bucks an hour instead of hiring professionals at a much higher cost so that we can keep more of our profits". Hopefully this reply has helped you learn the difference.

I see, so asking for reasonable compensation is "being a victim" and the thinking involved in doing a job should be the only determining factor in establishing reasonable compensation. Unfortunately for you guys, regardless of the likes you get, you're still wrong.

The water tubes keep the field soft for the players so it doesn't feel like concrete when they hit the ground. Unfortunately we have to keep ourselves warm, this is why I won't go to TCF past October, it's just too cold.
