Technology executives, advocates and experts convened at the Renaissance Hotel on Nov. 8 for the Technology Ball.

The third annual Technology Ball in Dallas drew more than 300 technology executives, professionals and advocates to the Renaissance Hotel on Nov. 8.

The event aims to unite the technology community for networking and to provide support for initiatives that will help build future technology leaders.

This year's entertainment was provided by Austin performance troupe Crash Alchemy. CyrusOne, the event's IT executive host sponsor, also paid tribute to Merv Tarde, vice president of IT and chief information officer at Interstate Batteries who died Oct. 31.

Esteemed guests included Technology Ball IT executive hosts from HollyFrontier, D/FW Airport, Kimberly-Clark, Michaels Stores, Rent-A-Center, Ryan, LLC, Omni Hotels, Southwest Airlines. Attending senior-level technology executives included representatives from The Intersect Group, CyrusOne, Epitec, Digital Realty, BravoTECH, BenefitMall, Clear Technologies, Hortonworks, Technology Partners and Masergy.
