Job Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • To effectively diagnosis vehicles in a timely manner
  • To ensure ethical work practices in recommending and completing work
  • To effectively communicate with advisors and rare time customers on needs of the vehicle
  • Will be on time and begin work promptly
  • To keep on communication about status of vehicles.
  • To follow all work and safety guidelines set forth by the management team.
  • To maintain a clean and organized work area 
  • Will maintain the required efficiency of work time.
  • Will maintain all current standards in Acura and VT testing.


Preferred Skills

Service Technicians must have good communication skills with a high energy level. Automotive service techs must be skilled at listening, problem solving and communicating orally. A thorough knowledge of vehicles repairs work is required. A strong work ethic and moral compass is required as well.

The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to fingers, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to sit and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and / or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and / or move up to 50 pounds. Specific visional abilities required by this job include close vision, and distance vision.

Associates degree or equivalent from a two year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience. Ability to read, analyzes, and interprets general business periodicals, professional journals, and technical procedures or governmental regulations. Ability to effectively communicate technical information to fellow employees and/or customers in a way that is easily understood. Ability to multi-task and address multiple issues or concerns at once.
