As a traveler, I’ve climbed over ancient temples in Cambodia, rode the rails through Siberia, explored ancient man-made caves in Turkey, trekked to hidden mountain temples in South Korea, and so much more. These experiences have shaped me and helped me to understand the needs to travelers around the world. I’ve written about many of these experiences on my other travel site, Tripologist.com.
But now that I’m a resident of Pennsylvania, I started UncoveringPA.com in August 2013 to help me show travelers to Pennsylvania what this great state has to offer.
Did you know that the visitor’s bureau’s can’t tell you what they really think of a place? Did you know that some reviewers on TripAdvisor.com have a hidden agenda or just get upset really easily?
Because of these factors, it’s hard to find honest travel advice to help you plan your trip.

My goal with this site is to bridge the gap between what the visitor’s bureau’s can tell you, and what you can find on sites like TripAdvisor.com.
From Philadelphia to Pittsburgh and from Harrisburg to Erie, I plan on leaving no stone unturned in my quest to uncover the best things to do in Pennsylvania.
