Outgoing Texas Gov. Rick Perry – a rumored 2016 presidential candidate – showed off his vintage looks by participating in Throwback Thursday. In a Twitter post, he wished his wife Anita (@FirstLadyPerry) a happy anniversary as the couple celebrates 32 years of marriage.
But while the governor is charming his followers on Twitter – the tweet’s been favorited nearly 500 times – present-day Perry is headed to court in Austin Thursday for an appearance on felony abuse of power charges.
