Haddonfield, New Jersey should retain local public ownership of its water resources to best protect the interests of consumers and the environment. On November 4, 2014, borough voters will decide whether to sell their water and sewer systems systems to New Jersey American Water, a subsidiary of the nation’s largest water utility corporation. This is a major, irrevocable decision that will affect the quality, security and cost of water services for generations of Haddonfield residents.
