Duties & Responsibilities

The residents of Parker County usually visit the Tax Assessor-Collector's office more frequently than any other branch of county government.  As an agent for the Texas Department of Motor Vehicles, the Tax Assessor-Collector's office provides vehicle registration and title transaction services for the residents of the county.  The office also provides Boat and Boat Motor Titles and Registrations; Beer, Wine and Liquor Permits/Licenses; Special Inventory Tax Collections.

Forms of Payment

Cash or Checks are accepted.

Effective Dec. 1, 2013, those wishing to pay with a credit or debit card will only be able to use Visa or MasterCard. Fees for using a Visa or MasterCard are 3.85% plus $.25 cents per transaction.
