This rapidly growing movement currently encompasses more than 1,000 B Corps across 60 industries and over 30 nations around the world. B Corps use the power of business to solve social and environmental problems.

B Lab, the nonprofit serving B Corps, operates 3 interrelated initiatives to support these entrepreneurs in the road to a new economy. In addition to certifying B Corps to meet rigorous standards, B Lab operates GIIRS, a ratings agency and analytics platform for impact investors, and also works to pass legislation for new corporate form. To date, 23 states and the District of Columbia have passed Benefit Corp Legislation into law.
