Morning Show Ratings: Week of October 27

morningshowanchors2014“Good Morning America” wins the week, but was the only morning show to lose audience compared to the same week last year. “GMA” was down -2% in viewers and down -3% in the demo. On Friday, “GMA” beat the “Today” show for the second straight Halloween — which “Today” formerly dominated — in both viewers and the demo.

“Today” had its biggest week in both total viewers and the demo in more than five months, since the week of May 19, 2014, but was down -8% in the demo vs. last year. “Today” did increase its total viewer audience by less than 1%.

“CBS This Morning” showed the most viewer growth in the mornings (+2%) but was down -4% in the demo.

The averages for the week of Oct. 27, 2014:

  • Total Viewers: ABC: 5.434M / NBC: 4.793M / CBS: 3.019M
  • A25-54 viewers: ABC: 2.030M / NBC: 1.886M / CBS: 961K
