Things are bustling at the Shops at Park Lane, which has announced seven new openings, including a showpiece Starbucks and not one but two fitness studios. The openings will begin in late 2014 and go into spring of 2015.

Starbucks and Zoë's Kitchen will open in the spring of 2015 and will serve as anchors for a new community park and five-story office building, currently under construction.

Dallas' newest and only "flagship" Starbucks will have 2,500 square feet in a standalone building at the park, with three sides of glass, a live "green" roof and a large patio overlooking the park. The store will feature Starbucks' newest offerings, which are being test-marketed nationwide.

Zoë's, the popular Mediterranean-inspired chain, will occupy 2,700 square feet of space on the north end of the new community park, with an outdoor patio facing it.

The new fitness studios include Studio 6 Fitness, which opened September 15, combining cardio and strength training with classic Pilates. Located on the upper level near Old Navy, this is the second Studio 6 Fitness in Dallas.

Zynn22, a new cycling studio concept offering "high-intensity" yoga classes, will open in the space between Gordon Biersch and Elixir Juice Bar in late 2014.

Other additions to the Shops at Park Lane's tenant list include the following:

  • Bar Louie, an eclectic urban bar with regional American food, is expected to open in November 2014 in the old Park Tavern spot.
  • DXL, offering an extensive selection of men's big and tall clothing and shoes, will open in the new development adjacent to the park in March 2015.
  • Unleashed by Petco is a unique boutique pet store on the upper level, which will sell pet essentials.

"We are thrilled to add the latest additions to our growing list of tenants at the Shops and Park Lane," says Sandy Spurgin of Northwood Retail, who adds that more shops will be announced in the coming months, with the grand opening of the center's new development in spring 2015.

The new development will add a five-story building with office space, ground-floor retail, two freestanding restaurant buildings and an outdoor plaza.
