In October 2014, Chinati opened an exhibition of work by artist Larry Bell. The exhibition focuses on Bell’s large freestanding glass sculptures, a type of work that he first showed in 1969 and continued to develop and exhibit until the late nineteen-nineties.

Thomas Eggerer will be the year’s last artist in residence at the Chinati Foundation, working in Marfa for the months of November and December.

Architects Sharon Johnston and Mark Lee will give a talk about their work at the Crowley Theater at 8:00 PM in downtown, Marfa. The talk is part of the Chinati Presents series and is free to the public.
