About Keeping a Close Eye ...

NCRP Blog Policy

Thank you for your interest in Keeping a Close Eye ... NCRP's official weblog.

Our goal is to provide a forum for critical discussions on topics related to grantmakers' accountability, effectiveness and responsiveness to the needs of marginalized communities. Our bloggers write about issues related to the role of philanthropy in society, such as how they can help strengthen our democracy, how grantmakers can be better partners to their nonprofit grantees, and how (and why) philanthropic institutions can be more strategic and inclusive in their giving.

Contributors to this blog include NCRP staff and guest bloggers. The views expressed on this blog reflect those of the bloggers, and do not necessarily represent the official views of NCRP.

On December 2009, NCRP adopted a code of ethics that all contributors must agree to abide by as a condition for posting on Keeping a Close Eye ...

This is a moderated blog to prevent spammers, inflammatory and obscene language, and off-topic comments. Comments that are neither of the aforementioned will be posted, even if they disagree with the bloggers' or NCRP's views. Although comments from those who decide to withhold their identity will be considered for posting based on the mentioned criteria, in the spirit of openness and dialogue, we encourage those submitting comments to include their name.

We always look forward to hearing from our readers! If you have any questions or to provide feedback, please don't hesitate to contact us at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .
