Dallas-based Corgan may be the busiest architect in town.

It’s the designer of the huge new State Farm Insurance campus in Richardson.

And Corgan has been hired to work on Toyota Motor Co.’s new North American headquarters campus in Plano.

No wonder then that the architect has filled up its 3-story downtown headquarters building on Houston Street in the West End district.

“We have outgrown our space in our headquarters building and determined that leasing additional space nearby was the best solution for the time being,” president Bob Morris said in a statement.

So Corgan has rented 14,000 square feet of office space in the nearby Market Ross Place building at 1701 Market Street.

Greg Biggs of JLL negotiated the new lease with Aarica Mims with Peloton Commercial Real Estate.

Corgan built its headquarters at 401 N. Houston St. in 2006. It has more than 60,000 square feet of space.
