I worked at MindGeek full-time (more than an year)
ProsFree breakfast food, lunch once a month, gym perks.
ConsManagement is way overpaid in comparison to the employees who actually do the work. This wouldn't be so bad if management wasn't incompetent, or the fact they brag about it in the lunch room. Rampant sexual harassment of females (behind their backs).
They lie about what the job description will be about. HR at this company could possibly be worse than the managers. I've referred my friends when starting out to work for this company, but they came back to me saying they hid the fact the job was basically screening for child porn 8 hours a day. Yeah, a "content formatter" is someone who sits in from of a computer, and watches user uploaded porn videos all day long, and must make detailed notes if they come across child pornography or gore. Beware, they probably changed the name of the job to something even more vague.
If you ever have a meeting with a manager or anyone in HR, they will outright lie to you. You cannot take anything they say at face value.Advice to ManagementAdviceI have no advice for you. Keep producing mediocre work, apparently it's working.

ProsIf you are in the right field (sales) and make friends with the right people, you can get a decent career.
There is some daily breakfast
Good referral bonus
Young environmentConsIt used to be a stable company. Now not so much. They laid off over 100 people and then starting hiring again 200 more.
Upper management have it's own agenda. They make huge restructural changes without taking into much consideration their employees. This is causing a lot of discontent and the highest turnover the company has ever had.
They are cutting off on the amount social events that we used to have. They also removed, the always given, Xmas bonus (without warning). And now they are lowering the amount on the yearly salary increases. They are cutting budgets from a lot of different places. For new employees, it wouldn't make a difference but for people that have been there for years, all this changes are disappointing and discouraging.
Non standardized salaries.Advice to ManagementAdviceTake the time to sit down and think what's going on. You are loosing some of your best and loyal talent and it seems like you don't even care. Stop trying to sugar coat and cover up all the negative changes with little improvements. Be transparent and honest. Your employees are smart enough to read past through the sales pitch and realize that they are loosing and stuff is been taken away from them. As much as an employee cares about your company, his/her career is what matters most to them and they are not gonna gamble with it. Give more importance and training to other departments that are not sales/PMs. Promote other ppl besides sales! You have other disciplines that require more recognition and a better understanding from your part .

ProsFree Breakfast?
They try to give many perks; they need to attempt to keep you happyConsThere is enough information about this company here. I worked at MindGeek (formerly Manwin) for slightly more than three years then was a part of that huge (over 100 employees) lay off which they made in October 2013. A month later they renamed the company, then received new investment. Now they are hiring again! Weird strategy isn't it? Their HR is severely lacking skills. The employees they hiring are sometime hard to understand not only to work with. Still there are some bright heads, not many, mostly among those who were hired 4-6 yrs ago by former HR staff/management. If you're talented, energetic and plan to grow, then don't waste your time, forget it. Nepotism and lack of management skills are the diseases of this business. If you just need a job and paycheck, and don't mind to have a porn company in your CV, then good luck. For more information/opinions about MindGeek search for "Manwin" on here and other sites. There are over 70+ reviews.

I worked at MindGeek full-time (more than 3 years)
ProsAverage annual increase of 5%
Bonuses
Free Breakfast
Parking
Above average health benefits
Monthly lunch for the whole company
Epic company parties
Flex TimeConsOne can argue that there are some questionable individuals in high level positions, but that applies to just about every company. Listen ... the hardiest working employee don't always get the promotion, it's the hardiest working individual that is well liked. That is the real world. I don't want a some social hermit with no communication skills running a team.
Advice to ManagementAdvicePeople that complain about this company, haven't had a professional job before and need to take their level of entitlement down a notch! These complainers are pot smoking, anti social hermits with an overestimated level of self worth. Grow up and stop with the aspirations of your band "making it big". I wanted to be center midfield for Manchester United, it ain't going to happen.
