Clean Air

Breathing is supposed to keep us alive, not kill us. Yet tens of thousands of Americans die every year because of dirty air. Earthjustice is wielding the power of the Clean Air Act to clean up air and to hold industry accountable for its pollution, so people can live full lives with lower risks of cancer, and fewer heart attacks and debilitating asthma episodes. Clean Water

Florida waterways are green with toxic algae, large sugar plantations are sucking Hawaiian streams dry, and storm water runoff is inundating Puget Sound with bacteria, wastewater pollutants, and toxic chemicals. Our litigation applies and enforces the Clean Water Act to stop the pollution of our water resources and to strengthen protections of our water resources -- from Chesapeake Bay to Puget Sound and all the lakes, wetlands and rivers in between. Pesticides and Toxic Chemicals

Earthjustice is protecting people and communities from toxic chemical exposure. We are working to reform our broken toxics regulatory system to force companies to prove chemicals are safe before they are put on the market.
