"I want to bring your attention to the newly formed NARO-PAC (Political Action Committee). At
January’s Board of Directors meeting, the Board decided to do away with the National Legislative
Council (NLC) and instead seek contributions into a NARO-PAC. We will still be able to travel to
Washington, D.C. with PAC funds. This will help us in our compliance efforts with funding and the
IRS’s not-for-profi t lobbying rules. Additionally, the NARO-PAC will be able to fi nancially support
those politicians who we know are in support of the issues that will make a difference to each of you.
So please send a contribution. We will use the PAC to better represent your interests!"
