Kim Ogg is bluntly honest about one of the big problems facing the Harris County District Attorney's office: Too many resources are spent prosecuting people for tiny amounts of drugs. Money, effort and attention go toward these low-level cases, which distract our chief crime fighters from the big picture. If elected, Ogg promises to refocus the district attorney's office, and she has the knowledge and background to make it happen. Ogg is the obvious choice for district attorney in the Democratic Party primary.
