Perry to Make First Courtroom Appearance
A Thursday pre-trial hearing on Gov. Rick Perry's abuse-of-power indictment will focus on whether the criminal prosecutor in the case was properly sworn in and if a transcript of grand jury testimony should be made available for inspection by the judge.
But all eyes will instead be on Perry, who is expected to make his first appearance in court.

Are you suggesting that Perry wants the grand jury transcript to find out which of his staff members finked on him by revealing conservations with the governor? If so, some staff folks may be caught between Perry and their legal obligation to tell the truth to the grand jury.

If Perry is found guilty, it will be the first time in his life he'll actually be held accountable for anything, and at his age it will hit him very hard even if no jail time is involved.
