In their only joint appearances of the campaign, Texas Attorney General Greg Abbott and state Sen. Dan Patrick, Republican candidates for governor and lieutenant governor respectively, warned West Texas GOP voters Tuesday against complacency, calling on them to deal a crushing blow to efforts, now or in the future, to turn Texas blue.
“It’s important that we don’t just win, but win big,” Patrick told about 125 supporters gathered at the Silent Wings Museum in Lubbock, dedicated to the history of military gliders in World War II.
