Fleet Management Department
The mission of the Fleet Management Department is to maximize the use and value of the City’s vehicle assets.
We will accomplish this by partnering with departments to provide quality services and reliable, safe, and environmentally-efficient vehicles in a cost-effective and transparent manner.
About the Director
Kenneth Hoglund was the Director of Fleet Management for Cintas Corporation in Cincinnati, Ohio, where he managed a fleet of 13,000 vehicles. He has held managerial positions at UPS, DHL, FedEx and Boeing over the past 20 years. He received his Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from the University of Washington in Seattle and is expected to receive his Master of Science degree in Finance from Golden Gate University this May.
“It’s a great honor to have the opportunity to join the executive team of the City of Houston and I especially thank Mayor Parker, City Council and the residents of Houston,” said Hoglund. “I look forward to leading the Fleet Department on its journey to becoming a world class fleet operation.”
