The Humane Society of Flower Mound is an all-volunteer, 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to promoting a respectful, responsible, and compassionate relationship between animals and people. We work to help animals in need in Flower Mound and the Denton County area.

FidoFest Tickets Now Available!

Register now and join us November 8th, 2014 from 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM at Westchester Park in Flower Mound for FidoFest! 

FidoFest is a day of fun with your dog that raises funds to support the programs and services of the Humane Society of Flower Mound. The dog walk starts at 10:00 AM and vendor booths will open immediately after the walk. Activities include:

• 10AM Dog Walk (includes a T-Shirt, bandanna, and goody bag)
• Bow Wow Bistro
• Costume Contest (Categories include Funniest, Scariest, Most Creative, Best Overall)
• Raffle Prizes Every Hour ($1 for each raffle ticket)
• Photo Booth (Christmas pet photos with Jenny Froh Photography)
• Agility Course
• Dog Games
• Dallas Dog & Disc Club Demos (Frisbee dogs)
• Meet the Denton County K-9 unit
• Shop our vendor booths
• Stop at our DNA booth for doggie DNA fun!
• Free General Admission

• Fundraising Team Registration is NEW THIS YEAR: Create a team and share your very own team page with friends, family, and co-workers telling them why it is important to raise money for HSFM. When you collect a minimum of $25 in donations you attend for free and can compete for individual and team prizes. The top individual adult and junior pledge-raisers will win great prizes!  Once you've collected your donations, gather your friends and family, leash-up your best canine pal, and attend the event.

Ambassadogs and #NTXGivingDay!

The #NTXGivingDay and Ambassadogs campaign was a huge success and a lot of fun. Our Ambassadogs and volunteers were all "dog-tired" by the end of the day but thoroughly enjoyed meeting everyone! Thank you to all the businesses who welcomed us to their establishments. And a "Dude" sized thank you goes out to everyone that supported us! By your generous donations, we raised $33,870!

Love On Wheels in the Spotlight

HSFM's Love on Wheels transport program is being featured in the March/April edition of Animal Sheltering Magazine, a respected publication for animal welfare professionals published by the Humane Society of the United States!  We are so proud of the volunteers both with HSFM and our partner Helping Hounds that have made this program such a success!  The great news is you do not have to wait until March - you can read the GreatPetMigrationHSUSJan-Feb2014!

Flamingos are Flocking

Have you seen the flamingos out lately? They might be flocking to your yard soon. Place your order today for graduation, birthdays, father's day, anniversaries, etc. You can place your order for a flamingo flocking by sending an email to flamingos@fmhs.org, call the Flamingo hotline at (972) 874-0807, or by submitting your order by completing the order form.
