DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) - Dallas Police are investigating after a man was discovered unconscious Wednesday evening at a Valero gas station at the Webb Chapel exit near Love Field.
They received the call of shots fired at an apartment complex on Dale Crest, less than one mile from the gas station. Officers said they followed a blood trail around the same time witnesses found a man bleeding on the ground near a fuel pump.
“A car pulled up and they just… they dropped him,” said a man who works at the convenience store.
Witnesses say detectives were on scene for about an hour, and wrapped the area in crime scene tape during the investigation. An ambulance came and took the victim away.
Further information on the man’s identity or whether he survived was not available Wednesday evening.
