The Media Library contains the UNT Libraries' nonprint, audiovisual collections. The mission of the UNT Media Library is to support the instructional and research needs of UNT faculty, staff, and students by collecting, maintaining, and providing access to media materials that represent all academic disciplines and all genres of film.

The ALA’s International Games Day is an annual event that reconnects communities around the educational, recreational and social value of games. The UNT Libraries will hold an International Games Day event on Saturday, November 15 in the Media Library, Chilton Hall Rm 111. This event will include an afternoon packed full of open video and board gaming and plenty of food and fun.

Does texting mean the death of good writing skills? John McWhorter posits that there’s much more to texting — linguistically, culturally — than it seems, and it’s all good news.
Linguistics In Motion is a joint effort of the UNT Department of Linguistics and Technical Communication and the UNT Media Library. All films screenings are held in the Media Library, Chilton Hall Rm 111C. Each screening is followed by a guest lecturer.
