Tesla reports its sales on a quarterly basis. Furthermore, it doesn't break out sales by country/continent. So, to have a good idea of previous (let alone future) US sales, you have to find out how many Teslas were registered in Norway, Germany, the Netherlands, France, China, etc, etc and then subtract them from quarterly sales. Furthermore, you then have to just assume that quarterly sales were split evenly amongst all three months. It's far too many assumptions to make, especially given the fact that registration data in other countries are generally not available. Anyone estimating Tesla sales is really playing a big guessing game. I'm not interested in pulling a number out of a hat.
