Mavs Request Waivers On Griffin, Togashi

DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) – The Dallas Mavericks have requested waivers on forward Eric Griffin and recently-signed guard Yuki Togashi.

Griffin was signed on July 18 after representing Dallas in the Las Vegas Summer League, where he averaged 9.8 points and 2.8 rebounds in 19.3 minutes. He appeared in two preseason games, logging one point and two rebounds in 10 total minutes.

Eric Griffin is NOT obliged to go to Frisco. But remember #Mavs gave him $150K guarantee. Relationship hopefully good there

Togashi did not appear in a game for Dallas after signing on Oct. 15. He averaged 5.3 points in four summer league games.

The team roster now stands at 18 players.
