Meanwhile, northbound Stemmons near downtown is also a mess for those attempting to make the early morning commute.
The incident began some time before 1:30 Monday morning, when a pickup carrying three men crashed into a concrete guardrail. When Dallas Fire-Rescue workers arrived on scene, they found all three pinned inside the wreckage. As a result, several lanes of Stemmons were doused in diesel fuel. Dallas Fire-Rescue called in Hazmat, and the Texas Department of Transportation dispatched contractors to clean up the spill.
Meanwhile, there are two crashes northbound on Stemmons — one at the Dallas North Tollway exit, and another at Market Center Boulevard.
