Trammell Crow Residential has released new details of the apartment community it plans to build on the banks of the Trinity River near downtown Dallas.
The Alexan Riveredge building is planned for a 2.5 acre tract on Turtle Creek Boulevard just west of Riverfront Boulevard.
Crow Residential plans to build a 5-story, 309-unit apartment building on the vacant tract that will overlook the Trinity River and provide views of the nearby downtown skyline.
The project is expected to cost almost $48 million and was designed by Demarest Architecture.
The Dallas Design District Tax Increment Finance District has agreed to give the developer up to $7.8 million in incentives to build the project, which would start next year.
The Alexan Riveredge is just one of a handful of new apartment projects Crow Residential has in the works in urban Dallas neighborhoods.
And it’s one of the largest new rental communities planned in or near the Dallas Design District.
