Cmon Google, we know you can do better
I love the multi-device inter connectivity of Chrome. I enjoy being able to access my desktop's bookmarks and even the open pages from my desktop and iPad. But on the app for the iPhone and iPad takes forever to start up; I feel like it should be accompanied with a classic dial-up internet sound while waiting for it. Not only that, but when browsing between different windows, when you return to a window it loads slowly again and always returns to the top of it and not where you left off. This is especially annoying when you're trying to follow directions or read an article because if your device locks and you want to resume your page viewing, you have to search to find your spot. Additionally, it crashes often and as a person with patience in every aspect of their life but when it comes to technology, this is incredibly annoying, especially after all of that waiting and searching for the spot on the page I was at and whatnot.
All-in-all, I feel like most loyal Google users expect more from them, at least this loyal Googler does, and I feel like the outline for the app is there, but the glitches and such are just so apparent that they're impossible to overlook and hard to use.
A thorough bug-fixer and strengthening update could definitely take this app from disappointing to satisfying and functional.
Great but...
I love this web browser, but it crashes WAY TO OFTEN. I think that this started to happen after IOS 8 because before, it never crashed. I find myself a lot of the time using Safari instead of this, and it's a shame because I like Chrome better; I find it faster. So PLEASE Google, PLEASE fix the crashes, it's making me wanting to use other browsers!
Aside from the crashes, this app is great! Like I said, I find it faster than Safari and don't have problems with it. It connects your account with all your devices which is good. I think that this might be the greatest browser on the App Store, but the only draw backs are the crashes
IOS 8:1 feeding when opening app
I've tried downloading the most recent is and app update to support chrome. It's a popular app for me usually and I'm very disappointed in not able to use it on my iPhone 6. Can we please inspect for bugs because even after a hard restart on my iPhone and app cancelled out it won't work. I've even tried restoring my from through iTunes as a new device and have deleted the app several times. Otherwise great application please fix :(
