Dynegy’s CEO says the company is in it for the long run

Houston’s Dynegy last month announced a pair of mega-deals that are set to vastly expand the company, placing it on par with Calpine as the third-largest power producers in the U.S. by capacity, behind NRG and Exelon Corp.

Dynegy CEO Robert Flexon sat down for an interview with FuelFix’s Ryan Holeywell and talked about the power generator’s past, including its bankruptcy, and its future.

“It’s totally different now,” Flexon said. “We know we’re here for the long run. We want to be successful and grow this business.”
